WHERE IT ALL BEGANCALL OF DUTY 2✦CALL OF DUTY 4✦WORLD AT WAR✦MODERN WARFARE 2
01 / OUR STORY
MORE THAN A GAMERTAG.
Before the Discord. Before the logo. There was a group of friends who just wanted to play.
2005 / THE BEGINNING
A team. A bond. A beginning.
In the days of Call of Duty 2, a group of friends formed a small GameBattles team. Teamwork, dedication, and late nights turned that team into a force to be reckoned with.
Then a tragic car accident took one of their own. The team eventually went its separate ways, into college, work, and life. The friendships mattered. The memories stayed. And for Savage, the passion for gaming never left.
MARCH 23, 2009 / EVILCORPGAMING
Built on a better idea.
After years in other clans, Savage decided to build the community he wished existed. Alongside a few passionate, dedicated players, he founded EvilCorpGaming: a place for competition, camaraderie, and having a damn good time.
THE REBUILD / BACK FROM THE ASHES
You can lose a site. Not the squad.
The original website was brought down, and the community Savage had worked to build was shaken. But the story didn’t end there.
Through the World at War era, Yamahammer, Kal, Jewbagel, Krayola, and Savage kept playing. The sniper. The toobing Canadian. The wild card. The queen. The beast. More wins, more late nights, more familiar voices. Eventually, bringing ECG back became the obvious next move.
MODERN WARFARE 2 / A NEW HOME
The next piece fell into place.
During the Modern Warfare 2 era, Solrac joined ECG’s leadership. He already knew Savage and Krayola from the CoD4 days, and brought his own gaming community experience to the Corp. A new website and forums gave those friendships a home again.
TODAY / THE NEXT CHAPTER
Some things are worth coming back to.
Life moved on. The games changed. The old forums are gone, but the people and the stories are still part of ECG. This is our place to reconnect, trade memories, and get a few games in together.

02 / THE GOLDEN RULES
PLAY HARD. BE GOOD PEOPLE.
The games have changed. What we stand for hasn’t.
Ten rules. One community. Built on respect, fair play, and protecting the fun.
01
Respect the people behind the gamertags.
We’re here to have fun, and that starts with treating each other with respect. Banter is welcome. Disrespect toward fellow members isn’t. If something becomes an issue, speak with ECG leadership before it escalates.
02
Be old enough. Act mature enough.
ECG welcomes members ages 16 and older. Exceptions for younger members require leadership approval. Whatever your age, we expect maturity and respect.
03
Resolve disagreements privately.
If you have a disagreement with another member, try to work it out calmly through private messages. If that first attempt doesn’t resolve it, contact ECG leadership on Discord. Keep personal disputes out of public channels and voice chat.
04
Play fair.
Hacking, cheating, and exploiting glitches to gain an unfair advantage aren’t tolerated. Harmless exploration in a private lobby with only ECG members is fine, provided everyone involved agrees. If you’re unsure whether something crosses the line, ask leadership first.
05
Keep your clan commitment with ECG.
Members should not belong to another clan or competing gaming community for games ECG actively supports. If we don’t support a game you play, you’re welcome to join a group that does. Better yet, talk to leadership about bringing that game and those players into ECG. Playing with friends outside ECG is welcome.
06
Wear the name well.
When you represent ECG, show good sportsmanship. Win without humiliating others and lose without making it personal. You can stand up for ECG, but address the issue without insulting the person behind it.
07
Stay connected.
Drop into Discord, join a voice channel, share something worthwhile, or squad up when you can. There’s no monthly message quota, and real life comes first. Meaningful participation matters more than message counts.
08
Don’t start clan wars.
Don’t harass, raid, or organize attacks against other players, clans, communities, or Discord servers. Defending ECG doesn’t require going on the offensive. Bring ongoing problems to leadership.
09
Know your audience.
We know gaming can get salty. Swearing happens, but it isn’t an excuse to abuse other players or disrespect fellow members. Keep heated reactions out of public game chat, and tone it down if someone in your party asks. Rule 1 always applies.
10
Protect the fun.
If you’re not having fun, speak up so we can help. If your behavior is ruining someone else’s experience, listen and adjust. We’re here for good games, old friends, and the memories still ahead.
IT’S BEEN A WHILE. GET IN HERE.
Bring your old gamertag. Bring a story. We’ll take it from there.
